PPI Scandal Turns Into Major Job Creator

The ongoing Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) scandal in which thousands of customers were mis-sold PPI policies, has turned into a major source of job creation in the UK. According to the employment group Manpower, more than 20,000 jobs have been created by banks attempting to deal with the servicing of PPI claims. In the year 2008, there were more than 11000 people that were killed in car accidents due to alcohol, says the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
